It is officially summer in Arizona, so it is very important to stay hydrated. Shown here are my water bottles I use so I can avoid single use plastic water bottles when possible.
My HydroFlask is great for taking on hikes, workouts and other places I want to avoid spilling. I got this one at REI they have great “garage sales” that you can get items that people have returned that have nothing wrong with them, joining the co-ops is a one time fee and worth it.
My Greens Steel stainless steel cup is my everyday use water bottle. It keeps water cold or if I want, can be used as double duty for hot items like coffee. It comes with two stainless steel straws and a brush to clean them (I just drink faster from straws) and I use it almost everyday.
Travel Bottle: Brita Stainless Steel
Lastly, my Brita Stainless steel water bottle is my travel companion. It has a built in filter (black item next to it) that I know my water will be clean. I confess I use this domestically but not always internationally. Some of the locations I travel to have such bad water quality I am hesitant and my health comes first. I got both of these water bottles off @amazon, they also sell replacement filters. I am currently on the waiting list TerraCycle to mail in and recycle the filters through Brita’s program.
Tap vs. Filtered Water
Most people assume that bottled water is regulated more than tap water is, but that is not truly the case. You can read more about that here: https://www.nrdc.org/stories/truth-about-tap?gclid=CjwKCAjwxrzoBRBBEiwAbtX1n_Eb1CTJwfuG_9HT7gPFR_HYcintVSu1XfzF7nTsvK655Ji1A-w-PRoCIpMQAvD_BwE
