Happy Independance Day! Most people will celebrate with BBQs, pool parties and fireworks. One thing you should not have to worry about is a sunburn, but most sunscreens come in plastic packaging. Here are some sunscreen options that come plastic free.
Raw Elements USA 30+ Sunscreen
I have personally used this sunscreen and it is compact and works well. They have a whole line of sunscreens: standard, baby & kid, and tinted. Created with natural ingredients and great for someone like me with sensitive skin while being water resistant for those beach days. Their company goal is to be planet safe while being effective. You can learn more about Raw Elements here.
Dirty Hippy Coconut Sunscreen Balm (with or without bug repellent)
Another all-natural formula that also has cardboard packaging as an option. It is affordable and has a multi-purpose option as a bug repellent. Great for that camping trip. Maybe if enough of us purchase they will start a recycle program in the USA! You can learn more here.
All Good SPF 50+ Water Resistant Zinc Sunscreen Butter
Another tin option that is both small enough for travel and it has a higher SPF than the others listed. It is also a cheaper option than Raw Elements. There is a new tinted sunscreen if you prefer. I have not tried this myself, but it is a common plastic free option suggested so I have to believe it works well, but try it for yourself. Learn more about this sunscreen here.
