Did you know that most scrubs have microplastics in them that when used are going down our drains? The beauty industry calls it “microbeads”. Why spend a fortunate on something you can easily make and doesn’t contain plastic? Usually it comes down to time, but I have two recipes for you that are easy and I know exactly what is is in each.

Coffee Scrub

Want to use your coffee grounds for something else? Make a scrub! Caffeine has been known to constrict blood vessels to reduce redness, so smooth skin and reduced redness. It is an easy recipe to boot!

Ingredients include: Coffee grounds, white sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
