Eat Local: Boston Tea Party Cafe

You don’t have to techically be local to a place to eat local. For example, I recently took a trip to the United Kingdom. I was looking online for spots to grab food while in Bristol and came across Boston Tea Party.

I was reading up on food stops and locations near enough to walk to from my hotel and found this gem. The name made me laugh and caught my attention. As I begin reading up on the cafe I was pleasantly surprised to find out they promote sustainability in a number of ways in their business.

Named the most Ethical Coffee Shop in Britain.

BTP Cafe researchs who they work with for their vendors and suppliers for food and supplies. They do all the hard work so you can sit back and enough a guilt free cup of joe. I had the iced mocha, I am not an avocado fan, but it made it so creamy and tasty I was impressed.

Green Energy

They are powered by green energy. So not only are they Ethical about their food and their waste but they look to reduce their carbon footprint.

Reusable Cups

They are the first to ban single use coffee cups and offer ecoffee cups for purchase or if you prefer, borrow one with a deposit and return it to any of their cafes.

A Tasty Choice

And the best part? The food is amazing! I had the pancakes with scrambled eggs and toast. It was a feast and I loved it. Maybe they will make their way to the states, a girl can hope!
